QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A few things
worth asking.
Useful information before a costume inquiry.
Still have a question?
Write to us ↗Can I buy or rent a costume?
Purchase and rental options must be confirmed for each item. This is a sample catalog; no option, price or stock availability is established until the owner confirms it.
How do I check availability?
Send the product reference, inquiry type and preferred dates through the contact page. The owner must confirm availability and any conditions before an order or rental is agreed.
Are the garments genuinely vintage?
The displayed designs are vintage-inspired. No age or provenance is verified. An item should only be described as genuinely vintage when supporting information has been confirmed.
What measurements should I provide?
Begin with chest or bust, waist, hip and height, then include relevant sleeve, coat or trouser lengths. State your units, intended underlayers and movement needs. See Care & Rental for more detail.
Are accessories included?
Do not assume so from a photograph. Request the final included-pieces list, including collars, hats, waistcoats and other accessories, before confirming anything.
Can I request alterations?
You can describe the change you need in an inquiry. Availability, suitability, permission, pricing and timing of any alteration must be confirmed by the owner; alterations are not promised.
How should I care for a costume?
Follow the garment-specific instructions supplied by the owner. Fabric, trim and construction may require different methods. Do not apply a general cleaning rule to every costume.
Does sending an inquiry reserve it?
No. An inquiry does not confirm a reservation or order. Specifications, availability, price and applicable terms must be agreed separately.
